Truffle was my first show puppy that passed all her clearances (including a cardiac echo, almost unheard of in 2008) and gave me my very first litter. Truffle blessed me with 10 puppies, 8 girls and 2 boys, a breeder’s dream litter! I kept a beautiful girl, but she didn’t work out, and my friend Sheila, had a male that is now a PTSD Service dog for a wonderfully sweet veteran, and Potter has changed his life. I get updates from the litter families, and everyone loves their sweet Truffle babies and they are very healthy and beautiful.
I placed Truffle with my dear friends, Kathy and Craig, in 2012, and she has had the best retired life, living in Discovery Bay, going paddle boarding, and sitting on her dock watching the ducks swim by. I know how much Truffle meant to them, and she had a fabulous life.
